Slough Town Hall, built in 1937, a year before Slough became a town, Is now undergoing a Refurbishment by Mansell Construction Services Thames Valley.
Claycots Primary School has been selected to take over the former town hall in Berkshire which is to be refurbished to create 420 school places by September 2012.
Councillors voted in November in favour of a £1.5m refurbishment of the former council headquarters to create primary places for up to seven years.
CPM have secured the internal and external decoration of the building and partnering with Dulux Paints hope to provide a quality and cost efficient finish to the development. Decoration works are due to commence in July for a period of 7 weeks.
